The project started with demolition of the existing outdated 1980’s bathroom equipped with marble looking shower and floor tile, bathtub/shower fixtures, and plain-jane dual sink vanity with marble countertop. We proceeded with the removal of shower, tile, fixtures, bathtub, flooring, toilet, vanity, sinks, mirrors and the dim beauty lighting fixtures.
Starting with bare walls, a new standing shower was built. We installed proper plumbing for the new shower, dry-walled the shower walls, and created a standing shower base. Next, we laid the shower walls with slate ceramic tile, installed pebble tile as shower accent and mosaic shower floor tile. Then, a glass shower enclosure and door were fitted. Dual polished-stainless-steel shower fixtures with ceiling-mounted rain-shower heads and additional hand-held sprayers were added. Finally, new corner shelving and folding shower seats were installed.
The floor was replaced with light grey flooring tile with matching baseboards.
Then, the sickly green-colored walls of the bathroom were repainted with a new application of white paint.
A light grey contemporary vanity with a white quartz counter-top was assembled and installed. Then, his and hers bowl-style sinks and polished-stainless-steel sink faucet fixtures were added. A medicine cabinet with large mirrors was installed.
A new slim one-piece toilet was installed.
The bathroom was finalized with the installation of all electrical and multiple new lighting fixtures and beauty lights which greatly brightened the bathroom.
