123 Remodeling just completed this beautiful bathroom remodel in Skokie, IL. This 1980’s built large bathroom and made it into a modern bathroom with heated floors, fireplace, stand alone tub and standing shower.
Here is what we did:
- Shower floor is a pebble based tile and the bench in the shower is out of a mock wood porcelain tile and the shower tile consists of large 12 x 24 porcelain tiles
- Stand alone tub has a pebble base around it which accentuates the tub area
- All the faucets and shower fixtures are polished chrome
- Carved out shelves both in the shower and next to the tub for additional storage space
- Installed a modern large vanity with two under-mount sinks, high-end quartz counter-top and a matching mirror
- Installed heated floors and a vent which vented out through the roof (Previous vent only circulated air)
- New fireplace for additional heat and ambiance
- Lighting in the bathroom was replaced including sleek LED lighting throughout and smart dimmers
- New solid wood doors and 4″ baseboards throughout
- Custom glass around the standing shower
