Bathroom Remodel – 6 N Michigan Ave, Chicago (Loop)

The Six North Michigan Building has towered in the Loop for over a hundred years, and the units have gone through a lot of renovation over the century. We had a hand in this unit, updating the bathroom for the first time in years. The new bathroom exudes luxurious minimalism, with a combination of white, gray, and stainless steel.

What we did

    • Demo and removal of existing bathroom.
    • Install new GCFI outlets to code.
    • Frame new custom walk-in shower and build a niche and a bench.
      • Custom glass shower door
      • Rainfall showerhead
    • Install new tiles in the shower floor, walls, ceiling, and bathroom floor with grout.
      • Wall: 8×20 Verona White ceramic
      • Shower floor: Cementi Nero porcelain mosaic
      • Accent: Alato Midnight Chevron glass mosaic tile
      • Floor: 12×24 charcoal grey porcelain
    • Install all new finished materials including tiles, grout, toilet, light fixtures, medicine cabinets, sink, faucet, towel racks
    • White double vanity with quartz counters.
    • Patch and paint all walls and ceiling new desired paint color.
