Studio Condo Remodel – 400 N Lasalle, Chicago, IL (River North)
What We Did
One major challenge of remodeling a condominium, especially a studio is making a small, generic space mirror your style and personality. When it comes to remodeling a condo, the process can be even more difficult since it is typically a small space with fixtures that aren’t easily moved.
However, if you want to update your condominium and improve the overall condo’s value, there are several ways to give it new life despite the challenges and the condominium association restrictions. It just requires careful planning and a little creativity.
Before making any changes to your condominium, read over the condo association bylaws and rules to make sure the remodeling plans are acceptable. Most condo associations in Chicago only allow owners to modify features within their side of the structural walls, which could mean there may be restrictions on changes to the plumbing and electrical.
123 Remodeling excels with condominium and high rise remodels, we understand the process and procedure when working with managed associations, before the project even begins we take the necessary steps of providing the association with certificates of liability, remodeling plans and any permits that may be required. Once the project is approved we take the step even further when the project starts by placing signage notifying neighbors about the ongoing remodeling project, its these small details that set us apart from the competitors.
